Fifth And Sixth For The Scuderia In Qualifying For British GP

In the final qualifying shoot-out for the British Grand Prix, at Silverstone circuit, Kimi Raikkonen was fifth fastest with a time of 1.30.881, one place ahead of Sebastian Vettel, sixth in 1.31.490. However, Vettel must take a five place penalty following a gearbox change and will therefore start from eleventh on the grid. Starting from pole will be Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes, having set a best time of 1.29.287.

Leclerc And Fuoco On The Silverstone Podium

Charles Leclerc finished second in today’s GP3 Series race at Silverstone. The Monegasque driver crossed the finish line ahead of his fellow Ferrari Driver Academy student, Antonio Fuoco. Having started from sixth and seventh on the grid respectively, Fuoco and Leclerc both put in great drives to move up the order and finish on the podium. Their “fellow student” Giuliano Alesi took the chequered flag in 16th place.

Maranello, June 28th – After debuting at Baku, Azerbaijan, Formula One now moves to Austria for the first in a string of six races that will complete the European season. Gone are the times of the old airport layout, marked by hay bales. The current Spielberg track, located in the southeastern Bundesstate of Styria, was built in 1969 and has gone through many changes in layout, before being reintroduced in 2014 after an eleven-year absence.
