A highlight will undoubtedly be Saturday’s (September 9th) “Leggenda e Passione” auction hosted leading auction house RM Sotheby’s. The event is poised to be the most significant single-marque sale in collector car auction history. Cars spanning all decades of Ferrari’s 70 years of history will be included in the sale. Among the early auction entries is a fully Ferrari Classiche certified 1966 275 GTB Alloy with a desirable long-nose that still retains its original engine and transmission. The first owner of this Ferrari was Adlai Stevenson III a US Senator from the state of Illinois (and great-grandson of Adlai Stevensen I, Vice President of the United States) . All lots can all be viewed on RM Sotheby’s website.
