Ferrari Invited Preliminary Contract Customers on an ‘Italian Journey With Ferrari’

July 27, 2016 – FMK hosted the “Italian Journey with Ferrari” event for Ferrari’s customers who have signed a preliminary contract to purchase a Ferrari. This event was organized not only to share Italian cuisine and wine experience but it is also about Ferrari’s own special culture.

Held at the Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, FMK wanted to show their gratitude to the customers who have been waiting for the delivery of their Ferraris because of the marquee’s thorough policy on limited order production and to communicate on its various special programs available to Ferrari owners.

At this event, Alberto Mondi, a popular Italian TV celebrity, personally introduced a few famous Italian cities including Milan and Rome and shared his experience of touring the Ferrari Factory which he recently visited. Furthermore, the guests were given a chance to experience the country’s traditional food and wine at a banquet specially prepared for them.

In addition, Louis Colmache, Head of Ferrari Corse Clienti Asia Pacific, introduced the special programs that are available for Ferrari owners. These include the Ferrari Challenge Race, a world-class one-make series race, and Corso Pilota, the Ferrari Official Driving program. Notably, Junghoon Youn, a Korean actor and a Challenge driver, shared his firsthand experiences competing in the races, receiving very positive responses from the crowd.

The Ferrari 488 GTB and 488 Spider, introduced last year in Korea, were on display to grab customers’ attention. With its extreme power for extreme driving pleasure, the V8 Turbo engine installed in the 488 GTB generates 670 hp of maximum output at 8,000 rpm and achieves 760Nm of maximum torque at 3,000 rpm. Also, 488 Spider is the open top version model with the Ferrari-patented RHT(Retractable Hard Top).
